my first post

we had learned the math properties. we took our benchmark test. four parts and 40 questions. and then we played this game called skunk last week. it was fun. we went over our homework.

Getting Ready

The first day of school is less than two weeks away and I am working hard to get our classroom ready! I'm creating bulletin boards, arranging the desks, and making sure we have all the materials we need. I'm looking forward to meeting my students and their families so we can start learning together. Soon I will turn over the blogging job to one of the students, so be sure to check in and see what he or she thinks about 5th grade at Martin Luther King, Jr. Elementary!
